Saturday, April 24, 2010 17:30 - Annualy the Brandywine Hundred Fire company hosts an Annual Service Awards Dinner. Brandywine Hundred was esablished in 1924 making this our 86th anniversary! 2010 also marked the 79th anniversary for our Ladies Auxiliary! This years agenda for our dinner included - Cocktails & Hors D'oeuvres, an Invocation, Dinner, Open Bar, Awards Program, and finally dancing. Dinner this year was proved by Golden Apple Caters which provided a delicious buffet style dinner! Past and present chiefs and presidents were recognized in addition to all of the operational and administrative officers for 2009 and 2010. This year Service Awards were given to members who have completed 30, 35, and 50 years of active service to the company (atleast 25% of fire calls). Local government officials attended and gave special resolution awards to Charles W. Frampton Jr., Virginia A. Yeager and Gerry Hurst for 50 years of active service in addition to other members for going above and beyond in serving the community through the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company. Special thanks goes to this years Awards Dinner Committee Members: Chief Thomas R. Finocchiaro, President Richard T. Perillo, Past Chief Thomas G. Willette Jr., Sarah E. Willette, and Virginia A. Yeager. Thanks also goes to our guests who attended, our bartenders Mike Saggione & Mick Pollinger, Delco Engine 45 and Delco Ladder 68 for covering our district while our members enjoyed themselves!
