Saturday, May 1, 2010 - On May 1, 2010, from 0900-1400, Engine 11-5 under the command of Asst. Chief Fannelli(11-8C) as well as Delaware County Rescue 40 (Boothwyn) were stationed at Wilmington Manor (station 28) for a cover up while members mourned the passing of Fire Policeman Robert J. Finnimore. While there 11-5 along with Delco rescue 40 had the responsibilities of covering the entire east side: stations 18, 20, 22, 28,32 because stations 18, 20, 22 were attending a drill on an uncontained hazmat incident with injured workers while 28/32 were at the funeral. While on the cover up 11-5, and R40 made the response to leaves on fire with extension to a shed, and a medical assist. Thank you to the members that participated in the coverup and thank you to the East Side companies for having us!
