On 6/21/10 at 17:13hrs stations 11 & 13 were dispatched to an automobile fire on Interstate 495SB just south of Edgemoor Rd. Engine 11-5 with a crew of 6 made the response in less then 2 minutes. Chief 11-8 arrived at 17:16hrs reporting the engine compartment involved. Engine 11-5 arrived and quickly put a knock on the fire. Engine 13-5 arrived and assisted with shutting down traffic while engine 11-3 arrived and assisted 11-5 with suppression. Chief 11-8 placed the incident under control shortly after and units cleared.
