Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, Brandywine Hundred and area companies were alerted to a residential structure fire with victims trapped on North Rodney Drive in Edgemoor Gardens. Assistant Chief E. DiMauro Jr and Engine 11 arrived to find smoke showing from the reported address. Engine 11 was able to quickly extinguish the fire in the kitchen area, while Tower 13 conducted searches of the residence for victims. A total of 4 victims were transported to area hospitals for evaluation.
